Every part of your operation, connected to the rest.
These are the MarineWiz modules, already in use in real operations. For each one: the problem it solves, what it does and what you gain.
Customers and CRM
Customer information is scattered across emails, chats and each salesperson's memory.
- Customer record with contacts, addresses, category and commercial terms.
- The customer's vessels with their equipment and components (engines, gearboxes, propellers).
- Sales pipeline by stage, with events and tasks assigned to each person.
- 360° view: quotes, orders, invoices and balance of the customer on one screen.
Result: Anyone on your team knows what a customer has been quoted, what was done and what has been collected.
Requests and quotes
Every quote is put together by hand in Excel, with prices that change depending on who prepares it.
- Log of the customer's request, followed through to the quote.
- Catalog of services and parts with rates; propellers are quoted by diameter.
- A quote cannot be approved if it lacks customer, currency, payment terms, validity or lines.
- An approved quote becomes a service order without typing anything again.
Result: Complete, consistent quotes — and none gets lost between the customer saying yes and the work starting.
Service orders
Nobody knows for sure where each job stands or who is doing it.
- Service order with its work lines, job tickets and the status of each one.
- Technicians assigned per line; the technician receives it in the app.
- Delivery notes for what is handed over to the customer, linked to the order.
- Technical inspection and diagnosis forms, reviewed and approved from the office.
Result: You know what is in progress, what is late and what hasn't been invoiced yet.
Invoicing, receivables and cash
Invoicing is late, advances get lost and receivables are rebuilt at month end in a separate sheet.
- Invoice generated from the service order, net of what the customer already paid in advance.
- Cash receipts for advances and invoice payments; a receipt is voided, never deleted.
- Balance of every invoice and every customer, always calculated by the system.
- Receivables dashboard: what is owed, who owes it and since when.
Result: You collect on time because you see every open balance without building reports.
Purchasing and inventory
Purchases happen without clear approval and nobody knows which parts are in stock or where.
- Requisitions that turn into purchase orders.
- Approval rules by amount and currency: each purchase order is approved by the right person.
- Goods receipt, supplier invoice and import costs allocated to what was received.
- Warehouses, transfers, stock ledger (kardex) and physical counts.
Result: Every purchase has an approver, and every part has its stock and its cost.
Shipments
Shipments are coordinated by phone and nobody can find the waybill when the customer asks.
- Shipment record with its carrier and waybill number.
- Linked to the customer's service order or the supplier's purchase order.
- Dedicated shipment numbering.
Result: When the customer asks about a part, the answer is one click away.
Management dashboards
To know how the business is doing you have to ask for a report and wait days.
- Dashboards by role: management, sales, operations, receivables.
- Targets and budget against actuals.
- If a figure couldn't be loaded, the dashboard says so: it never shows a zero that isn't real.
Result: You decide with today's numbers, not last month's.
Currencies and exchange rates
Everyone converts with whatever rate they remember and totals never match.
- Documents in Colombian pesos, US dollars or euros.
- Colombia's official exchange rate loads automatically every day as a reference; your company sets the rate used for conversion.
- When the currency of a quote changes, the system asks which rate to convert at.
Result: Figures in any currency that add up.
Documents with your brand
The documents the customer receives look different every time.
- Printed and PDF formats for quotes, service orders and invoices.
- In Spanish or English, chosen when printing.
- You decide whether the customer sees the part numbers.
Result: Every document looks equally professional, whoever prepares it.
Users, permissions and audit trail
Everyone can see and change everything, and when something breaks nobody knows who did it.
- Roles by area: sales, operations, cash, accounting, purchasing, management.
- Read and write permissions by screen and by action.
- A change log: who and when; for documents, money and permissions, the previous value too.
Result: Control without slowing anyone down: everyone works on their own part.
