App privacy and security

Who processes your data

The data controller is Adandaa Corp. The app is used inside a technical services company: that company decides who can access the information about its jobs and how long it is kept. Adandaa Corp. acts as the service provider and processes the data following that company’s instructions.

What we collect, and only this

Your identity

Your name, your company code and the username your company gives you to sign in.

The jobs assigned to you

The service orders and requests your company assigns to you, with the customer and vessel details needed to do the work.

The forms you fill in

The answers, measurements, notes and sketches of inspections and checklists, with the time they are sent.

The photos you add

Only the ones you take with the camera or pick from the gallery for a form, reduced in size. The app does not access the rest of your photo library.

Location at a single moment

When you take a photo, and only if you allow it “while using the app”, where it was taken is saved. At no other time: there is no continuous or background tracking. If you do not allow it, the photo is saved anyway, without location.

Signatures

The signature image with the name and title of the signer — you, or the customer’s representative signing off the work.

What we do not collect

• Your location outside the moment of taking a photo.
• Diagnostics, analytics or usage data. No third-party tools report to anyone on what you do in the app.
• Advertising or device identifiers. There is no advertising and we do not combine your data with any other company’s.
• Your contacts, browsing history, financial data or any health data.

What it is used for

Only to make the service work: so you can see your jobs, fill in their forms even without a connection, and your company can receive, review and approve them. The location of a photo records where the evidence was taken; it is not used to follow you.

The PDF report of each form is generated on the device itself. It only leaves the device when it is sent to your company or when you choose to share it with the “Share PDF” button.

How it is protected

On your device

The information stored on the device is encrypted with SQLCipher (AES-256). The session lives in the operating system keychain, not in the app.

In transit

All traffic with our servers is encrypted with TLS. Photos and signatures are uploaded to private storage.

On the server

Each company has its own database, separate from the others.

Who can see what

The server decides on every query which jobs each technician sees: only their own. What a technician does not need — for example, the costs of a quote — never reaches their device. Removing a permission takes effect immediately.

Backups

The database is backed up, and every night the backup is restored and verified on a separate server.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell your data or give it to anyone for commercial purposes. The only third parties involved are the providers needed for the service to work:

File storage

Photos, signatures and PDFs are stored in a cloud storage service, accessible only to those with permission.

Your company’s customer

Your company may give the customer the job report, with its photos and signatures.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, and object to certain processing. Because this data is part of your relationship with your company, the first step is to talk to them: they decide about it. If you get no answer, write to us and we will help.

How long it is kept

Forms are kept as long as your company needs them to document its services. A submitted form is never silently rewritten: every correction stays in its history, with who made it.

Children

This app is a work tool and is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date above before releasing the version of the app that does so.
